The inkjet printer has been adapted by Ecole Cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL)student Christophe Guberan, to print patterns that transform into 3D shapes. This hydro-fold process is caused by printing with ink that consists of both ink and water.
After the paper has been printed the paper folds automatically along the wet lines. Brilliant!
